Duke is based on a true story and gives us a glimpse into the struggles of a non-verbal teen with autism. It also reveals the challenges that his family members face while taking care of him. As the family starts to fall apart, our main character needs to find his voice in order to keep
them together.

With a total of 40 official selections worldwide and 18 awards, Duke is proudly endorsed by the Autism Society of America.

About the Director

Thiago Dadalt started his film career writing and directing stage plays in Brazil. Chocolate (2018), a short film about early-onset Alzheimer’s and the homeless community in L.A., qualified for Oscars in 2018.

His debut feature documentary, Where is Nancy?, about Nancy Paulikas who was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s by the age of 55, won the Best Documentary at CINEQUEST Film Festival 2020 (Silicon Valley).
